This week, we are making 70 of these beauties for corporate gifts. The story goes, that jewelry designer extraordinaire Marla Aaron would make her special sea salt butter cakes and give them out as holiday gifts. When she started her business, she gave them to her craftsmen and early clients. Now, with a burgeoning international business and a fine jewelry vending machine in the Brooklyn Museum carrying her work, the list has grown exponentially. We are honored to be chosen to carry on this wonderful tradition on her behalf and produce, (by hand of course) these beautiful and delicious cakes.
